January
- Install hardscape projects (Retaining walls, fences, patios etc)
- Prepare and design for spring landscape projects
- Remove Christmas lights
- Recycle organics for spring compost
- Water sod, plants and trees
February
- Install hardscape projects (Flagstone, brick, pavers etc)
- Recycle organics for spring compost
- Prevent mice and animals by keeping trash, leaves and loose objects cleaned up
- Water sod, plants and trees
March
- Schedule pre-spring clean up and lawn maintenance
- Install hardscape projects (Garden areas, erosion control, etc)
- Recycle organics for spring compost
- Fertilize grass, trees, shrubs and groundcovers
- Water sod, plants and trees
April
- Install hardscape projects (Rock, pathways, concrete etc)
- Apply Pre-emergent to prevent Spring Weeds
- Prune ornamental grasses
- Water sod, plants and trees
May
- Take a moment and enjoy everything coming to life
- Aerate, fertilize, re-seed grass areas
- Add a thin layer of enriched soil for grass every few years
- Fertilize, turn soil and add organics to plants and trees
- Prune trees if not done in the fall
- Spray for ants
- Spray broadleaf weeds
- Plant Perennials, Groundcovers and trees (Recommend after May 15th)
- Install Sod (Recommend after May 15th)
June
- Check your plants and adjust watering as needed
- Give your plants and grass a boost with Revive organic spray
- Mow and trim regularly
July
- Deadhead plants as needed
- Adjust watering for summer heat if needed
- Hand water trees to give them some extra support
- Remove any dead branches from trees
- Fertilize as needed
August
- Deadhead plants as needed
- Re-seed grass as needed

September
- Plant sod now before first freeze
- Spray for weeds one last time
- Schedule for a sprinkler blowout
- Plant bulbs before first freeze
October
- Plant last of trees and plants before first freeze

- Schedule for Christmas lights installation
- Blowout sprinkler system
- Water sod, plants and trees
November
- Enjoy Thanksgiving with family and friends
- Install Christmas lights
- Prevent animals and mice by cleaning up all loose items
- Inspect and fill in areas where your garage and house might be vulnerable for mice
- Water sod, plants and trees
December
- Enjoy Christmas with family and friends
- Remove any last leaves from turf and flowerbeds (Recommend this for winter watering)
- Water sod, plants and trees
Winter Watering Tips
- Recommend NOT turning on your sprinkler system between November and April
- Water from your outside spigot
- Water midday when its the warmest
- Water when its 50° or higher
- Remember to disconnect the hose from the spigot when done
